Betty Lee Froneberger Washburn, 81 of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Village Green Care Center. She was born in Kings Mountain, NC on November 10, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Nina Jones & Tollie Lee Froneberger. She was preceded in death by her sons Randall Mintz and Garry Mintz and stepdaughter Susan Tackett. She retired from Womack Army Medcial Center at Fort Bragg, NC where she served as a Diet Technician for 28 years. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Rev . Daryle Williams, officiating. Entombment will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Washburn of the home, two daughters, Vicki Hemingway of Fayetteville, Cynthia Jones of Hope Hills, three step-daughters, Kathryn Cockman of Stedman, Joann Ford of White Oak, NC & Brenda Boykin of Fayetteville, NC. One sister, Jean Grice of Dillon, SC, 18 Grandchildren & four great Grandchildren.
