Mrs. Betty Robinson Izurieta, 79, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. Betty was born in Ecuador, South America and a resident of Fayetteville for nearly 50 years.

Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Henry, whom she met and married in Madrid, Spain. She is also survived by her four children; her son Carl Izurieta and wife Katina of Murrells Inlet, SC; her son Francis Izurieta and wife Heather of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Maria Izurieta Herring and husband Stephen of Fayetteville, NC; her son John Paul Izurieta and wife Shana of Kernersville, NC; her seven grandchildren Stephanie Izurieta Stall (Matthew), Christopher Izurieta, Aubrey Izurieta, Catherine and Sarah Herring, and Leah and Alexandrea Izurieta; her three sisters, Maria Luisa Robinson, Grace Krokos, Jenny Robinson Naranjo (Bolivar); her brother W. Anthony Robinson (Leticia); her half-sisters Anna Maria, Maria Dolores, Monserrat, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00am in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC. Inurnment immediately after in the Church Columbarium followed by a social gathering at the fellowship hall of the church.
