Mrs. Betty Jane Bohannon, born June 20,1932, in Toccoa, Georgia, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Betty was a devout Christian who enjoyed spending time listening to Christian music and talking about her family whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bohannon; two sons, Joe S. Bohannon, Terry D. Bohannon; and grandson, Joey Bohannon.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Terrell Leverett; daughter, Lynn Crawley; grandchildren, Michael Bohannon, Brenda Rohme, Teresa B. Tyndall, Sandra Bohannon, Stephen Bohannon, Stephanie Dena, Alexandria Stull, Nicholas Stull; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will visit with family and friends from 1 pm - 2 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with a memorial service directly to follow at 2 pm.
