Betty Faye Stephens Willoughby, 79, of 4714 Watauga Road, died Monday, October 30, 2023, in Bayfront Hospice St Petersburg, FL.  She was born January 23, 1944, in Lumberton NC to James Ennis Stephens and Virginia Grace Taylor.

Betty was a hairdresser, loving mother, and a woman full of love and grace.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Her burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. .The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willoughby was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Troy V. Willoughby; her devoted son, Stanley E. Jordan III; graceful sisters, Virginia Stephens Britt, Rosa Stephens Kirby, Peggy Stephens Little, Beth Stephens Hunter; and brother, Jerry Stephens.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lynn Jordan; brother Danny Stephens, and countless loving nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Matthews United Methodist Church, 202 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
