Betty Rene Stephenson Genter, 87 of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015.

Betty was born July 16, 1927 in Harnett co, NC to Joseph Franklin Stephenson & Alma Mae Jean McLean. She was a Dental Assistant & a Military wife & a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Genter in 1988 & her daughter, Barbara Jean Genter in 2007.

The funeral will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St.Patrick Catholic Church . The visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 10:30am to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her Daughter, Mary Ann Genter & her husband Earl Crumpler, Jr of Fayetteville, a son, Joseph F. Genter of Fayetteville, a son, Stephen Genter & wife Kathy of Fayetteville, a daughter Suzanne Genter Burgin & husband Roy of Ocean Isle, a daughter Dorothy Genter Gilreath & husband John of Rockhill, SC. and a brother, Cecil Stephenson of Charlotte. and 11 Grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Patrick Catholic Church.
