Billy "Bill" Joe Williams, 85 of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in N.C. State Veterans Nursing Home. Billy was born November 30, 1930 in Mantee, Mississippi to the late Lottie Pepper Totty and Herbert Totty.

Bill was an Air Force veteran and attended Trinity Baptist Church. Bill was a former employee of Carolina American Bus Co. Bill was a devoted employee at the Fayetteville Academy for 34 years.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Baptist Church. The inurnment will take place in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Cindy Dodson and husband Kenneth of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. and a son, Lee Williams of Burlington; grandchildren, Lauren Picha and husband Tom of High Point and Jeffrey Dodson and wife Cassie of Nashville N.C.; great-grandchildren, Lucy Picha, Madeline Picha, and Cora Dodson.
