Retired Army Command Sgt. Maj. Billy Johnson, 77, of 2416 Kimberly Drive, Fayetteville, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital. Mr. Johnson retired from the Army after 30 years of service. Services: Funeral, 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home. Survived by: Wife, Elminie; daughters, Julielynn and Linda; son, James; sisters, Joann Oldland and Georgie Williams; and two grandsons.
