FAYETTEVILLE - Billy Robert Long, 88 of Fayetteville died Monday, April 25th .

Mr. Long was a Veteran of the National Guard, U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 28th at 12:00 p.m. at Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Ruriko Nishimoto; son, James Long and wife Catherine of Fishers, Indiana; sister, Irene Camp of S. C.; brother, Richard Long of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jacob Montague and Jordan Long. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
