FAYETTEVILLE - Bish Barnile Roberts, 71, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, March 15, 2009. He was a retired seargeant first class in the U.S. Army. Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Milton Little officiating. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with full military honors. The family will receive friends today at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Sandy Farren Roberts of Huntington, W.Va.; daughter, Terry Lynn Burgos of Fayetteville; sisters, Anna Belle Ruegsegger of Fayetteville, Roberta Lewis of Fuquay-Varina, Vivian Manske of Fayetteville, Lois Allen of Dunn, Inez Capps of Galivants Ferry, and Vernice Wall of Fayetteville; brothers, Levon Roberts of Aynor, S.C., and Standford Roberts of Aynor; granddaughter, Andrea Rosa; three great-grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.
