Mrs. Blanche Harry Knight, 96, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, in Bethesda Health Care Center. Mrs. Knight was born in Dublin, MD, on March 6, 1910, the eldest daughter of the late Lena S. and Joel Stanley Harry. Before moving to Fayetteville in 1999, Mrs. Knight was a lifelong resident of Harford County, MD. She was a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church in Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Darlington United Methodist Church in Darlington, MD, with the Rev. Ed Heydt and the Rev. Gray Sieglein officiating. Burial will follow in Darlington Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Mitchell-Smith Funeral Home in Havre de Grace. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Edward A. Knight, and a sister, Mary H. Huff. She is survived by son, Richard Knight and wife, Elaine, of Street, MD; daughter, Elizabeth Mackey and husband, John, of Fayetteville; niece, Mildred K. Riley of Darlington; nephews, Robert M. Knight of Havre de Grace, David S. Huff of Nags Head, James E. Huff III of St. Leonard, MD, and Thomas D. Huff of Cambridge, MD; grandchildren, Stuart L. Knight of Forest Hill, MD, Kevin E. Knight, Susan L. Knight, both of Street, MD, John M. Mackey Jr. of Pittsburgh, Kevin D. Mackey of Fayetteville, and Mark Mackey of Hope Mills; great-grandchildren, Justin E. Mackey of Hope Mills, Kirsten E. Mackey of Fayetteville, Dillon, Madison, Audrey, Josephine, and Emerson Knight of Forest Hill, MD, and Joshua, Sarah, and Jacob Knight of Street, MD.
