Rev. Bobby Lee West, 70, of Fayetteville went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, November 11, 2015 after dedicating his life to God's ministry.

Rev. West obtained his Masters in Theology from Rivers of Living Waters Bible College. He graduated cum laude with a final GPA of 3.6.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby; his son, Robert "Doodle" West and wife, Robin of St. Pauls; two daughters, Debra N. Ratley of Fayetteville and Donna N. Gregory of Parkton; two brothers, William "Bill" P. West of Coats and Daniel "Keith" West of Fayetteville; two sisters, Patsy Duntz of Ocala, FL and Brenda Cullinan and husband, Brian of Red Springs; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Rev. West will be greatly missed by his family, his church family, and a host of others that considered him family.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Timberlake Church of God, 3515 Sturbridge Dr., Hope Mills, NC 28348. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the church with Dr. O. Wayne Brewer of Kenly, the Eastern N.C. Administrative Bishop, and Rev. Anthony Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery in Fayetteville.
