Brenda Cannon Bunce, 73, of Fayetteville, peacefully passed away Tuesday, July 21st, 2015, at home with her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:30a.m. Saturday, July 25, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Paster Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Southern Pines. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 10 -11:30a.m., at the funeral home. Brenda was born August 25th 1941 in Fayetteville, the daughter of the late Nathan Joy Cannon and Sallie Adelaide Wallace. She recently moved to Pinehurst to be closer to her family. She was the owner of the New Look Beauty Salon in Fayetteville and loved her profession as a hair stylist for over 40 years. She enjoyed traveling, loved going to the beach and spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone she met and knew no strangers. Brenda was a loving and devoted wife for 54 years to the late Paul Kenneth Bunce. Mrs. Bunce is survived by sisters, Patricia Demore and Mary Heglar and a brother Timothy Cannon. She was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Nana and Granana. She will be forever missed by her daughter Kimberly Bunce McIlwain, her son Paul K. Bunce II, and his wife Cheryl. Her grandchildren, Tiffany Carpenter and husband Will, Savannah Kochel and husband Phil, Stephanie Boyd and husband Chase, Paul K. Bunce III and wife Semantha, Jill McIlwain, Dalton Bunce and wife Savannah. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, who called her Granana, Bailee, Gabriel, Braelynn, Hall, and Bentley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Health of the Carolinas Hospice Care in Pinehurst. In loving memory of Brenda, we ask you to hug your child, grandchild and friends. Love you more.
