Mrs. Brenda Faye Johnson, 54, of Spring Lake, NC, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC.

Brenda was born March 20, 1969, in Fayetteville, NC, to the late Austin David Johnson and Linda Faye McPherson Bohannon.  She was an accounting technician with the Cumberland County Health Department.  In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her stepfather, Joe Bohannon.

Brenda is survived by her children, Casey Carney (and husband Aaron), Chance Rohme, and Ryan Rohme; granddaughter, Adalynn Mae Johnson; and siblings, Teresa Tyndall (and husband Randy), Sandra Bohannon (and significant other Daniel Melvin), Michael Bohannon (and wife Brandy), and Annett Howze; and nephews and nieces, Michael Alan Bohannon, Landen Hunt, Christopher Tyndall, Kearia Hunt, Lacey Bohannon, and Lydia Jonsson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery, Stedman, NC.  In addition to the visitation at the funeral home, friends are also welcome to visit at the home of Brenda's brother, Michael, on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
