Mr. Brennan "Jimmy" McLaurin, 78, of Eastover, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, in his residence. Jimmy was a US Army veteran. He was retired from Kelly-Springfield Tire Company after 25 years. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at 3 pm in Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. David Beck presiding. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucy Brown McLaurin; sons, Keith McLaurin of Raleigh and Scott McLaurin and wife Susan of Wade; daughter-in-law, Jackie McLaurin of Raleigh; and two grandsons, Keith and Andy.
