C. Franklin Jones, age 80, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at his home.

He was a native of North Carolina, a graduate of Wake Forest (College) University and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through the ROTC program. Following military service he began a career in banking and an additional 49 years in insurance and investments.

Frank is survived by his wife Dickey Slade Jones and son Vincent Stephen Jones of Atlanta.

Visitation will be held at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 8 from 5 to 7 pm. A graveside service will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines, NC, on Wednesday at 11 am.

Thanks is extended to First Health Moore Regional Hospital and Pinehurst Medical Clinic for service through the years.
