Carl Preston Chandler, Jr., 80, of Raeford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Autumn Care of Raeford.

Carl was born March 27, 1946, in Fayetteville to Carl Preston Chandler, Sr. and Ruth Sanrock Chandler. Carl was a 1974 graduate of Methodist College and received his Law degree from Campbell College in 1977. He practiced law for many years in Cumberland County. He enjoyed gardening and watching westerns on TV.

Carl is survived by a son, Carl Preston Chandler III; sisters, Sharon Chandler and Lynn Chandler (Eugene); brothers, Phillip Chandler (Phoebe), Michael Chandler (Betty), Mark Chandler (Lynn); stepbrothers, Chris Norman and Bill Norman (Suzie). He is predeceased by his parents and a stepbrother, Jimmy Norman.

According to Carl’s wishes, no services will be held.
