Carmen Renee Crain Burks, 58 of Fayettteville, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at her home. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA. She was the Festival Park Coordinator for the Fayetteville-Cumberland County Parks and Recreation and a valued member of that department. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday February 8, 2010 from 9:00am until services in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Services will be conducted by Dr. Mark Crosby. Burial will be at Ellis Cemetery in Franklinton, LA. She is survived by her mother Beryl Simmons Crain, Brother Robert Larue Crain II, neice and nephew Cali Lauren Crain and Ethan Robert Crain all of Watson, aunts Jane Rester and Billie Stafford and numerous Loving cousins. She is Preceded in death by her father Robert Larue Crain. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Knight, Barry Hutchinson, Billy Landry, Jimmy McElveen, Richard McElveen and Carl Plitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greg Simmons and Carl Brown.
