Mrs. Carolyn Jayne Faulkner, 59, of 2226 Rolling Hill Road, Fayetteville, died Sunday, May 27, 2007, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Carolyn was a retired loan officer from First Citizens and RBC Centura banks. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and served the church as a lay reader. Carolyn was also a member of The Red Hat Society. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with the Revs. Ray Brown and Jill Beimdiek officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Charles C. Faulkner of the home; her sons, Edward C. Faulkner and wife Audrey of Fayetteville and Wesley C. Faulkner and wife Tricia of Garner; her daughter, Jane F. Griffin and husband Michael of Garner; her mother, Jane Harn of Columbus, Ga.; her sister, Diane Ward of Columbus; her brother, James Harn Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Karley Solomon, Jacob Solomon, Syara Faulkner, Destiny Faulkner, James Faulkner and Chance Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Harn.
