Carolyn F. Schaefer Linley, 74, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her residence.

Carolyn was born on January 25, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late, Jack F. Schaefer and Christine Pearce Schaefer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Linley, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at  11 a.m. at  Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery Chapel. Rev. Floyd Benfield will be officiating.

She is survived by her godson, Robert Douglas Wright, and wife Elizabeth; god-grandchildren, Sabrina Wright, Alexandra Wright, and Robert Wright, III; sister-in-law, Janet Robinson; mother-in-law, Opalene Linley; sister-in-law, Diane Hendrix; nephew, Alex Gregor.
