Mrs. Carolyn Faye Sutton, 79, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2 pm in Baywood Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Richard Robinson presiding. The burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.

Carolyn was born in Rocky Mount to the late George and Lula Lewis. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Herbert Sutton; children, Randy Sutton and wife Pam of Pikeville, Sam Sutton and wife Cammie of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Townsend and husband Bryan of Colorado Springs, and Joseph Sutton and wife Annjanette of Goldsboro; 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Justin, Summer, Cameron, and Janna; 2 great-grandchildren, Koen and Colton; a brother, William Lewis and wife Laura of Sherrell's Ford; and 2 sisters, Sonya Viverette and Phyllis Ratcliff and husband James, all of Rocky Mount.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the church.
