Fayetteville, N.C. Mrs. Carrie Lee Hammond, 90 of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Village Green Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Rev. William Vines officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Hammond, son Rudolph Hammond, daughter Fay Collier, sisters Katherine Robertson, Alice Gore, Mary Giddens, Dorothy Moore ; brother Buddy Smith and grandson James Collier. She is survived by her son Ronnie Hammond and wife Pam of Hope Mills, daughter Kay Parker and husband Tommy of Fayetteville and 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
