Mrs. Catherine McMillen Bageant, 83, of Fayetteville, formerly of Cumberland, Md., passed away Wednesday Sept. 5, 2007. Mrs. Bageant was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Bageant; and a brother, Robert E. McMillen. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Sept. 7, 2007, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. The funeral will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. She is survived by three daughters, Catherine Jean Bageant of Frostburg, Md., Susan Hughes of New Bern and Joan Bageant of Fayetteville; and a sister, Hilda Mosner of Baltimore.
