Ms. Catherine "Kathy" Emma Sabolovich, 53, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at noon at Magnolia Baptist Church on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Kathy is survived by her son, Jonathan Sabolovich; her daughter, Helen "Darline" Cole and son-in-law, David; her grandson, Landen David Cole; three brothers, Willliam "Bill" Steven Sabolovich, Thomas Nathaniel Elmore, Jr., and Francis "Frank" William Elmore, all of Hope Mills; two sisters, Nancy Darlene Elmore of Hope Mills, Elizabeth "Beth" Emma Dove of Gray's Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathy was best known as "Mimi," a title that she adorned proudly. Nothing brought Kathy more joy than the company of her children, grandson, nieces and nephews.

She spent the past 17 years working at Bojangles as an Assistant Unit Director. Kathy enjoyed her work and her church, Magnolia Baptist, of which she was member for over 18 years.

Kathy was a proud thrift-shopper and treasured her finds. She enjoyed the company of her dog, Hank, her grand-dog, Jodee, and her grand-cat, Lettuce.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Cape Fear Valley Health Pavillion North Cancer Center or The Cancer Center of Harnett County.
