Mr. Charles L. Ross, Sr., 76, of Linden, died peacefully Sunday morning, November 17, 2013, in his home. Charles was born August 20, 1937, in Robeson County to the late Lowerence and Thelma Reece Ross. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela Dalton Ross; 3 sons, Charles L. Ross, Jr. of the home, Jason Dalton of Linden, and Jonathan Dalton and fiancée, Jennifer Arthurs, of the home; and 5 grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Ross, Ella Evans Dalton, Lottie Evans Dalton, and Garrett Dalton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Ross. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
