Mr. Charles James Townsend, 60 of Hope Mills passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 in his home. He was a retired supervisor with DuPont after more than 30 years. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Strickland, officiating. The burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 6:00 till 8: 00 p.m. Mr. Townsend is survived by his son Aaron Townsend of Hope Mills, daughter Rebecca Forgach and husband Richard, III., of Fayetteville and brothers Watson Townsend, Jr. and wife Barbara of Columbia, Missouri and Frank Townsend of Hope Mills and sister Mary Carter of Fayetteville and twin grandchildren Ayden and Aubrey Forgach; numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery.
