Mrs. Charlie Washington Del Grande, 89, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mrs. Del Grande was a teacher for the Cumberland County Schools for over 36 years. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009, in Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Daniel officiating. The family will have a visitation following the service in the church fellowship hall. She is survived by a daughter, Susan P. Del Grande; two grandchildren, Christy Dixon and Amy Dixon; and two great-grandchildren, Casey Burroughs and Hannah Dixon.
