Obituary

Charlotte Jane Ingram was born in Fayetteville, NC on January 22, 1962, to C. C. (Larry) Ingram and Mary Jane Ingram. She passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at her home. She attended Lafayette School and graduated from the Fayetteville Academy in 1981. Following graduation Charlotte worked at Cross Creek Savings and Loan where she brought joy to the staff and customers. She continued to shine for another 25 years at the law firm of McGeachy, Hudson and Zuravel where her favorite activity was her daily visit to the courthouse. She was a faithful member of Highland Presbyterian Church and delighted in attending the Emma Lee Howie Sunday School Class each week.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, C. C. (Larry) Ingram, her mother, Mary Jane Ingram, loving aunts and uncles Mildred McGeachy (Hector) of Fayetteville, NC, Jim Ingram (Rose), Edgar Ingram (Doris) of Statesville, NC, Mildred Hamby (John) and cousin, Tony Lopez of Durham

She is survived by cousins Linn Lopez of Durham, NC., Dr. Mike Hamby (Teresa) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Amy Ingram (Jeff Koonce) of Statesville, NC.

Charlotte was blessed to have a network of devoted guardians who lovingly managed her care following the death of her parents:  Mary Johnson, Don Hudson, Lee Zuravel, Bill Lambert, Marshall and Betty Howie, Carla Council of Fayetteville and Linda Griffin (deceased) of Myrtle Beach. A special thank you to Dr. Sharon Mitchell and her staff, Cape Fear Valley Hospice and Palliative care and Cape Fear Valley Home Health. In addition, Charlotte was fortunate to have the following ladies who cared for, befriended, and loved her daily until her death. Charlotte's "Angels" include Tammy Davis, Patty Drake, Barbara Evans, Robyn Hall, Betty Hemingway, Deborah Locklear, Bessie Ray, Lisa Starling and so many more through the past years.

The burial will be Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at 10:00 am at Cross Creek Cemetery. The visitation will take place in the Session Room at 10:30 am followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 am at Highland Presbyterian Church Chapel.
