FAYETTEVILLE - Christopher Chase Schultz, 25, of Fayetteville, died Friday, April 23, 2010, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Jimmy Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in Culbreth family cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the funeral home.
Chase was born Jan. 28, 1985, in Fayetteville, to David and Michelle Schultz. His father was in the Army, so Chase grew up in North Carolina, Hawaii, Virginia and Washington state. He graduated from Bethel High School in Spanaway, Wash. Chase was a loving father to his daughter, Liberty. He loved to fish, golf and ride his motorcycle. He loved landscaping and had also worked as a plumber. Chase was well liked, had lots of friends and will be missed.
Chase was preceded in death by his father, David Schultz; and grandparents, Blake and Shirley Culbreth. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Liberty Chase of Tacoma, Wash.; mother, Michelle Schultz of Fayetteville; two brothers, Jason and Michael, both of Fayetteville; grandparents, Paul and Alice Schultz of Waynesboro, Va.; and two nephews, Jordan and Jeffrey of Tacoma.
