Retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Chester Glen Harmon, 79 of Fayetteville, passed away Friday February 5, 2010 in the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was a Army Veteran of the Korea and Vietnam wars. A memorial service will be held Tuesday February 9, 2010 at 2:00pm in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel, the family will receive friends following the service, He is survived by his wife, Renate G. Harmon of the home, 3 Daughters, Helen Harmon and Betty J. Harmon, Both of Greenville, and Janet Crotty and husband Shannon of Randleman, a son Glen W. Harmon and wife Laura of Cary, a sister Velma King of Greensboro, 3 brothers J.D. and Henry Harmon of Drexel and Charles Harmon of High Point, and a grandson, Chris Godsey of Greensboro
