Christopher David "Chris" Butler, 43, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 3 pm in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Chris was a gifted artist who was capable to do amazing drawings and paintings using an array of mediums.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, David F. Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gay Butler; daughters, Olivia Gay Butler and Rachel Estelle Butler, all of the home; mother, Sheila Ritchie and husband James, of Raeford; and sisters, Shelley Butler Lupo of Fayetteville and Suzanne Ruth Baker of Denver.
