Christopher Robin Fischer, 56 of Hope Mills, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Fischer was a loving father and grandfather, in his younger years he served as a firefighter with the Cumberland County Fire Department, and his passion was his job as a bee keeper. A memorial service will be held Sunday, at 2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2 p.m. prior to the service. Surviving are his daughters, Tabitha Hobart and husband David, Samantha Abrams and husband Jessie; mother, Joan Fischer; brothers, Donald and Barry Fischer; grandchildren, Madalyn, Jack and Cody Hobart and Charlotte Abrams; also the mother of his children, Anita VanHalen.

He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
