FAYETTEVILLE Christy Regina Starling Skoniecki was born on December 25, 1979. Her life was a beautiful present delivered to the world that Christmas Day. Christy's life was one of love, devotion and loyalty. Her infectious smile and love for others brought sunshine to all who knew her. Christy adored nothing more than being a wife and a mother. Even in her darkest hours, while caring for her precious daughter Vivian, she clung to hope, she prayed for a miracle, and she loved unconditionally.

Christy showed us all how to truly love. No better words describe her devotion to the tiny lives God blessed her and Antek with than these: Motherhood is more than a stage- it's a lifelong calling from God. With it He gives us hearts that love deeply, hands that serve tirelessly, and vision to see His blossoming image in the precious ones entrusted to our care.

Although Christy left this world on July 5, 2016, a reflection of her love will always be seen through the eyes of her son, Sebastian.

Christy is survived by her husband, Antek; son, Sebastian; mother-in-law, Juanita Moore; mother, Eva Yarborough and husband Wilson; father, Stanford Starling and wife Debbie; brothers, Stanford and Ty Starling; step-brothers, Chad, Dax, Trey and Spence Yarborough.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 1 pm in Praise Fellowship Church of God, 510 Adams Street, with Pastor Richard Williford presiding. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 noon to 1 pm at the church.
