Clara Edge McCabe, 84, of Hope Mills, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her daughter's residence.

Mrs. McCabe was retired from the Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, and worked as a bookkeeper with Valley Investment Co. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park with the Chaplain Gary Lucas officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McCabe; sons, Lawrence and Kenneth McCabe; daughter, Sandra McCabe. Surviving are her daughter, Sheila McCabe; son, Carson McCabe; brothers, Frank Terry Edge, Burnice Edge and wife Edith; grandchildren, Timothy McCabe, Cecil McCabe, Jr., Jessica McCabe, Sarah Hess, Khristine Worthington, Carson McCabe, Jr., Seth Horne, Karen McCabe, Chardella Chavis, Becky Johnson, Brittany Johnson and numerous loving great grandchildren.
