Mr. Clarence M. "Buddy" Edwards Jr., 67, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Edwards was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church. In his 50 year career he worked as a sales clerk, auditor, manager, purchasing agent and sales consultant for several convenient store chains. He loved gardening and his animals. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clarence M. & Julia Edwards and his Sister, Tina Haire. A funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park. Surviving are his Wife, Irene; Sisters, Frances Dahlvig and Husband Rick, JoAnn Marlowe and Husband Joe; Brother-In-Law, Glenn Haire; Aunt, Edna Wages; and several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends today, Dec. 29, 2013, from 4 to 6p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the FAPS, 3927 Bragg Blvd. Fayetteville, NC 28303; or to Cumberland Baptist Church, 4847 Cumberland Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28306. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 4 -6 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park.
