Clarence Roy Smith, 54 of Hope Mills passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.

He was in the National Guard.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean Cain and Justin Bryce Smith, Sr.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa McGee Smith of the home; sons, Brandon Smith and wife Lauren of Savannah, Georgia and Jesse Smith of the home; daughter, Hannah Smith of the home; brothers, Justin Smith and wife Glenda of Hope Mills; James Earl Smith and wife Ruth of Fayetteville; sisters, Betty Sue Costa and husband Jay of Navarre, Florida; Cheryl Jean Thomas and husband Robert of Hope Mills; grandson, Coen Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Smith Educational Fund 5304 Ashby St. Hope Mills, NC 28348.
