SFC (Ret.) Cledus Howard McCaw, 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Cledus was born December 6, 1942, in Hopkins County, Kentucky to Manual McCaw and Callie Hedgepeth McCaw.  He retired from the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. 

Cledus is survived by his life partner, Mary Harper; her daughter, Joanna Montes; and a host of extended family and friends whom he dearly loved.
