Obituary

Clementine Elizabeth Jenkins Farrior passed away peacefully on Christmas Day. The daughter of Billy Pink and Lela Britt Jenkins, she was born on April 27th, 1928, in Fairmont, NC. Clem attended Worth Business School in Fayetteville where she met Joseph Giddens Farrior. They were married on March 11th, 1950. Joe preceded his beloved Clem on November 4th, 1993. She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church in Fairmont, Trinity Baptist Church in Fayetteville and a charter member of Village Drive Baptist Church. Clem retired from Sears and Roebuck as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Sears Retirees Club. She was preceded by two brothers, Bobby and Billy Jenkins of Fairmont. Clem is survived by two sons, Joseph G."Joey" Farrior, Jr. and wife Judy of Fayetteville and Donald Lynn Farrior of Liberty, SC; also, grandchildren Jason Anderson and wife Cassie of Roanoke, Va, Brittany Farrior and Dustin Farrior of Liberty, SC; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Rowan and Neave. Clem is also survived by two sisters, Myrtle J. Graham of Warsaw, NC and Carolyn J. and brother-in-law Bobby Wilkerson of Fairmont. Brother-in-law Buck Farrior resides in Charleston, SC. Clem will be missed by all of her cousins, nieces and nephews. Clem was married briefly to the late Naylor Baggett Barefoot of Mingo, NC. Our prayers are with his family. Cheers to the staff at the Carolina Inn who faithfully cared for "Miss Clemmy" during the last several years. Clem was loved by all and we know she is at peace with our Lord in heaven. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 11 o'clock a.m. in LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. A memorial graveside will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11am in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
