Col. (Ret) Pritchard Gibson "P.G." Adams,Jr. 86 of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in his home. He was an Army Veteran of Korea & Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his brothers John "Jack" Adams & William C. Adams. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11am at Northwood Temple Church . Burial will take place Monday, March 24, 2014 at 10am in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. He is survived by Wife of 61 years, Lucia Andrews "Lucy" Adams of the home; a son Rev. Pritchard "Prit" Adams III & wife Dana R. Adams of Haiti; a daughter, Mary A. Chapko & husband William T "Bill" Chapko of Charlotte; two sisters, Ruth A. Gardner of Little Washington, NC & Martha A. Estep of Plymouth, NC; & 3 grandchildren, John A. Adams, Gabriel C. Adams, Deborah F. Edelen & husband Benjamin and a great grandchild due in April.
