Mr. Collin L. Sumrall, 58, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Duke University Hospital. Collin was the son of the late Tommy and Helen Sumrall. He was an incredible husband and father who worked tirelessly to support his family through his business, Cape Fear Securities.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 pm at the funeral home.

Collin is survived by his wife of 23 years, Melinda; his daughter, Melanie, who attends NC State University; his brother, Wayne and his wife Phyllis; his in-laws, Clark and Carol Pearson; brother-in-law, Dan Pearson and wife Tonya; several nieces and nephews; his loyal business partner, Joe Jackson; and a host of clients who he considered and treated as his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Lori Manning.
