RAEFORD - Curtis Wilson \\"C.W.\\" Beasley, 70, of Raeford, died Thursday, March 26, 2009, in his home. C.W. was a member of Village Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lessie Beasley; sister, Sarah Sparks; and brothers, Bob, Charles and Bud. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Sasser Beasley; sons, Mike Beasley of Fayetteville, Ricky Beasley of Raeford, and Craig Beasley of Fayetteville; brothers, Scott Beasley of Washington and Walter Beasley of High Point; sister, Erma Johnson of Fayetteville; and five grandchildren, Skye, Colton, Austin, Madison and Allyson. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Dr. Bruce Martin and the Rev. Ned Webb officiating. A burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, March 29, 2009, at the funeral home.
