Fayetteville- Mr. Damien R. Morgan, 35, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, in his residence as a result of his illness.

Damien was a truck driver having worked with both Schneider Trucking and Fayetteville Publishing Co.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 1 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Father Andrew Winters presiding. The burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. A Trisagion service will be held at 7 pm during the visitation.

Damien is survived by his mother, Velma Joan Morgan of Fayetteville; his father, Tony Morgan and his wife Angelika of Fayetteville; his sister, Adrianna Hannam and husband Kane of Creedmor; nieces, Alexie Bowden and Gabriella Bowden; his aunts, Dorothy Sue Hair and Peggy Rose Williams and husband James Lee Williams, all of Stedman; and a number of cousins and extended family.
