Damona Lynn Burns, 51, of Raeford, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in her residence.

Funeral services will be held graveside, Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 3 pm in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Norwood Tadlock and Joshua Tadlock presiding. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Damona loved playing and teaching piano. She had been giving lessons in her home since 1980. She also worked as a preschool teacher; most recently with Harvest Baptist Church PreSchool.

Damona is survived by her son, Timothy Burns of Raeford; and her sister, Sue Kittle of Raeford.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Harvest Baptist Church Building Fund, 5504 McPhail St., Hope Mills NC 28348.
