Daniel L. Cartee HOPE MILLS — Daniel L. Cartee, 68, of Hope Mills, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Cartee was the former owner and operator of Imperial Exterminators of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, in Fayetteville Community Church, with the Rev. Gary Strickland, the Rev. Herman Autry and the Rev. Wesley Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Mr. Cartee is survived by his loving wife, Susan Autry Cartee of the home; daughters, Penny Bill and husband Steven of Hope Mills and Amy Bill and husband Michael of Hope Mills; brother, Marion "Sonny" Cartee and wife Beverly of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jake Michael Bill and Riley Olivia Bill; best friend, Johnny Knox and his wife Pam of Auburndale, Fla.; niece, Linda Prevatte and husband Buddy of Fayetteville; sisters-in-law, Odessa Blackstock of Fayetteville and Joanne Cartee of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Lola Cartee; brothers, Paul E. Blackstock, J.C. "Jake" Johnson and Robert D. Johnson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home The funeral will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 1pm in Fayetteville Community Church Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery
