Daniel K. Philbeck, 69, "Danny Boy" passedaway peacefully at his home, December 14, 2014.

Known by his countless friends as "Danny Boy", Danny livedhis life to the fullest every day. Adaily visitor at Eutaw Shopping Center for most of his life, Danny Boy nevermet a stranger. Despite his manyobstacles, his loving heart and quick wit were enjoyed by many.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 16, from 7 to 9 pm at Jernigan Warren.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. Tryon Lancaster presiding.

Danny Boy is survived by his sisters, Patricia Herrera andPhyllis Elmore of Fayetteville; nieces, Melissa and Sharon Herrera ofFayetteville and Jennifer Willis of Cary; nephews, Brett Elmore of Raleigh, AndyWillis of Cary and Keith Barnum of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 6 great-nieces and 3great-nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Jane Palmer,Terry Ciszek, Manny and Lela Longoria and James Jiminez for their daily loveand care of Danny Boy and the entire family.
