Danielle Lawson, 30, of Spring Lake passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at her residence.

She was a loving mother and friend to so many. Anyone that was graced by her presence knew she had a heart of giving. She will be remembered for her stern personality and warm smile. She had eyes that would light up any room. She enjoyed serving in her community and spending time with friends. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and will be truly missed by her sisters.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Deacon Donnie F. Smith, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service Sunday at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Full Military Honors by the US Army will follow the service.

She is survived by her children, Angel Velez, Jassiah Vega and Leilani Lawson; sister, Gabrielle; loving grandparents, Jay Dobbs, Emma Sue Gaines and Don Gerson; Aunt Lorraine Yamin and Uncle Eli; best friend and soul sister, Lulu Velez and Candice, and her military family.
