David R. Bailey Sr. FAYETTEVILLE -- David Ronald Bailey Sr., 47, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in his home. David was a dedicated employee with Public Works Commission for 25 years and also the owner and operator of David R. Bailey Electric. Visitation, 6 to 8pm, Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 at the Jernigan_Warren Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Dwight Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. David is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Amy Hill Bailey of the home; sons, Joshua Ekstrom and David R. Bailey Jr., both of the home; brothers, Barry Bailey of Fayetteville, and Steve Bailey and wife Lynn of Fayetteville; and mother, Edith H. Bailey of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Bailey.
