David Kent Beasley, Sr., 60, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. David was born Feb. 21, 1952 in Fayetteville, to Evelyn and Everette Beasley. He attended Seventy-First High School and Pembroke University, and was the owner and operator of Carolina Physician Records of Fayetteville. Surviving David are his loving wife Katie Schewe Beasley, mother Evelyn Beasley, son David Beasley Jr., daughters Amy, Ashley, and Angela Beasley, daughter-in-law Selena Harvey, grandson Cole Beasley; brothers Ronald and Craig Beasley and sister Jill Beasley. David was preceded in death by his father Prince Everette Beasley and brother James Beasley. David was an avid golfer and could often be found spending time with friends on the golf course. He was above all a dedicated family man. He was generous and kind and was always supportive of his children. Before he passed he said, "Everything I've ever done, I've done for my family." A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at 3pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Visitation with the family is from 2-3pm on Sun. at the funeral home.
