David Ray Cain, 81, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home with his beloved family by his side.

David was born March 14, 1940 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Lois and Troy Cain.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 1pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1:00 pm on Wednesday.

David is survived by his wife, Elaine Cain; children, Michael Ray Cain and wife Cheryl, Novella Simms and husband Scott, Genoah Cornell and husband Allan, Morrison Davis, Earl Davis and wife Judy, Glen Davis and wife Donna, Angelina Samuel and fiance Hicham, Sirena Cameron; grandson, Michael Anthony Cain; sister, Margaret Cole; special aunt, Janice Cain; special cousins, Hazel Livingston, Susan Ray, and Becky Holmes; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Church of God, 2217 Clinton Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312.
