David Noel Joyce, 56, of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the UNC Hospice House in Pittsboro.

David was born in Forsyth County on November 16, 1966, to the late Lester B. Joyce and Elba Fulk Joyce. He was a retired TSGT with the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of service, where he served 4 tours in Afghanistan and 3 tours in Iraq.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till  1 p.m. prior to the service at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

David is survived by his wife, Christine Borek Joyce; children, Jenna Joyce, Glen Joyce and wife Ciarra, Lindsey O'Connor and husband John, Brett Joyce and wife, Tiffany, Breanne Casey, Pacen Joyce, Tanya Rush, Jessica Rush, Tiffany Joyce, and husband Brett; brothers, Monte Joyce and wife Greta, Christopher Joyce, and wife Anna; and numerous grandchildren.
