FAYETTEVILLE - Miss Debbie Lynn Kiser went to be with the Lord Monday night, Nov. 8, 2010, in Village Green Care Center in Fayetteville.
Debbie graduated from Chatham Central High School in 1982. She pursued a medical career by working as a CNA at Meadow Brook Manor in Siler City, and later at Durham VA Hospital in Durham. She graduated from Sandhills Community College in 1991, and worked as a LPN in Central Carolina Hospital.
The best times of Debbie's life were accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, playing with her cousins, especially Johnny, watching Carolina basketball, tennis and singing with the Chatham Central Concert Choir. Debbie wants to be remembered as being a friend to everyone.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Mrs. Anne Kiser; sister, Ms. Patty Cockman; and two nieces, Miss Meredith Cockman and Miss Katherine Cockman, all of Fayetteville.
Miss Kiser's funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Village Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Dr. Bruce Martin officiating, with a visitation following the service. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Sandy Branch Baptist Church cemetery in Bear Creek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Village Baptist Church VIM (Volunteers In Mission) Fund, 906 S. McPherson Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303; or Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 715 Sandy Branch Church Road, Bear Creek, NC 27207.
